Does Brick Farm Tavern have a bar area/bar menu? Would like to stop by and just enjoy a few pints and snacks without sitting down for a full meal in a dining area. Looked on the website and didn't see this info. Looks like it would make a nice special occasion dinner spot, tho.

Yes, you can order food at the bar. If I remember correctly food menu at the bar includes snacks as well as main course.

Yes, they have a small bar area you can eat and drink, then right outside that area there are some tables for bar customers to sit and order. The main dining room is on the other side of the place. It's more upscale than I expected.

The bar menu is actually their complete menu. Which does include small plates and appetizers if you're not looking for full entrees.

I went to Troon the last couple of weekends while I was up visiting family, and really dug the beers. Particularly loved Dog-Eared Novel and Working Retail, just fantastic stuff.

So I wonder what Patriarchy is hopped with? Anyone have an idea, or info? I'm going to pop over there this evening for a growler fill and I'll see if Alex will divulge the hop variety, heh.

I grabbed a 32oz of it Friday. It was delicious. But Alex still wouldn't divulge the hop. Lol.. He said, "you tell me..." Doh!

The patriarchy is simcoe hopped. I'm loving the imperial sweet stout Troon makes. Great body and flavor, can't wait to try any of the adjunct ones. Coconut may be in the works from what I hear.

Had the sweet stout this weekend. Was awesome. The coffee and cinnamon one that was on last week was even better. Kinda hoped it was still there for fills but glad I got to try the base beer as well

So if I was coming from South Jersey what would be the order I'd wanna hit these places (Conclave/Troon)(maybe Vault too if there's a reasonable route)...?

conclave has that weird 1 pm open which kind of blows starting north and working south for us SJ guys... the other weekend i started at troon around 12:15... went up to conclave.. down to unionville for some wine.. then to the referend... didn't do vault but it's not far from referend

really you have your option of places to hit.. vault would have the largest operating hours i think so no rush for them.. conclave probably has the smallest window to get to.. i'd start there and work south.. I jumped the gun and got up to that general area too quick so had to start at troon... didn't matter really.. just would have preferred going North to South

I enjoyed the coffee and cinnamon variant best too. I've also had the base beer, as well as the version on coffee and brown sugar, which was surprisingly not my favorite. A tad too cloying for me. All and all though I'd not refuse a pour of any version.

This looks like it is amazing.
    But 6.3% = Session strength?
    Man, times have changed.

I used to call 6.3% an IPA, but what do I know?
