Troon Brewing

The last two weekends, he's posted the beers available at like 4:50, but I felt like he posted like the day before that he would be open. Just kept the beers quiet. Maybe I am misremembering? I'm only 15 minutes away so I'm gonna roll the dice too.

 

I figure worst case scenario, I get to try the 3 beers from the last two weeks that I missed due to vacation.

 

I too shall roll the dice. It's nice out, and only so many more months before lining up gets cold and wet.

We will be selling 150 cans per day, with 300 total cans available.

 

really bummed out. I am working from home today and was really hoping to drive over there. Unfortunately my car died on me this morning and the dealer didn't have loaners, which is unfortunate because I heavily enjoy all of the things that are in this beer.

so this approach is a double edged sword - especially since he hasn't announced per person limits (i assume 2). My guess today is he sells out by 6-6:30. Maybe gets to 7 if he does a 1 can limit.

But that means everyone hits instagram and untappd with reviews, which will hype it up and there will be 50+ in line by open.

He is definitely having an awesome problem to have though. Always nice to see a good brewery pushing out good beer.

Really interested to see about this too. Two weeks ago there were easily 40 people in line at opening (probably ~30 last week?). If he does 2 pp, he may not make it to 6:00 if he get a similar turnout.

Definitely a good problem for him to have!

 

i heard last week they sold out within 75 minutes -- but it was also 2 IPAs. Did see some instagram posts with quite a few (6+) cans, not sure if they were joint or not though.

 

Yeah is was 3 pp (x2 beers) to start. I think he lowered it to 2 pp at one point.

 

he is starting it at 2pp, instagram says at least 10 people in line already.

 

How bad was the line today. I have a doctor appointment in that area next Friday and just gauging if it's worth stopping by.

 

I was there at 5:20 and when I left I was the only one in the building. Have no idea what that means for tomorrow.

 

I have no idea how to describe this beer. It is odd and different but the only thing I know is that it ls damn tasty

 

Made my first trip yesterday. I arrived around 4:45 there were probably 30-40 people already in line and I was out by by 5:15.

 

Twice the beer as last week. Double the allotment. Should break about the same.
