Things were moving nice and quick when I was there. Steady line of 10-15 or so people. But that was 40 min ago.

It's 4pp, so if everybody maxes out that's 125 people, which wouldn't surprise if that number went through by 5:30-6pm.

Wanted to edit my post but phone isn’t letting me. First time stopping by this place. Only 15 minutes from my office so an easy drop in. The grounds this place is on are amazing. I need to come back to to hang out and stop into that tavern. Everything about the brewery and their metal vibe and the rustic venue is right up my alley. Looking forward to trying this beer and stopping back often.

You'll love the Tavern. My wife and I hit it up almost every Friday for drinks and snacks (as they are called on the menu) and of course crowlers. The food is top notch and if you want to indulge, the tasting menu is spectacular. As far as bar food, the burger is awesome.

Really glad I just happened to be in the area for Illegible Metal Font. So good!

Does anyone know the hop profile of the beer? Everything I've had by them is great and I picked up 2 crowlers without even knowing what I was buying.

best way to do it imo. Leaves out the pre-conceived notions of what to expect. Worst case scenario is you dump 1 and trade what's left or give it to a friend.

i'd like to see the limits lowered to 2 pp for any release under 600 cans... not like they still won't sell out but it allows the beer to stick around for more then what... 3 hrs yesterday? Not very accommodating to people to have a chance to get it... i'm also seeing these start to pop up for marked up money in a lot of places now... at 4pp that will happen.. at 2 pp it might happen but not so often or with such frequency

I believe they did drop it down to 3pp at one point. Just based on the Instagram updates moving in 3s. Even so, an out of nowhere release on a Tuesday that sold out that quickly...that's pretty amazing, at that point it is mostly "locals" and not whale hunters/traders/lynelyfe bros or whatever.

Also heard that someone had Troon open 1 of the last 3 beers so that they could taste before buying. smh.

Gotta say, I'm not surprised. If I wasn't working like crazy for this go-live, I'd have been there. It's a pretty ride, doesn't get rush hour traffic, and there's no tolls. Why not?
