i love the fact that they do a 7.6% session IPA and then a 6.4% triple.

 

Hoping there's beer Friday when I'm in the area!

 

I would associate the "triple" prefix to an IPA with relatively high ABV of at least about 10%. What does it mean in this case? Are we talking the amount of hops? Is there no meaning at all and that's the point? Thoughts?

What time do you typically have to arrive to guarantee beer? I have never been and thinking about making my first trip for this release. Any help would be nice

There have been lines at opening for most of these releases. There is only enough Morose for 160 people so I would say an hour before.

Here is the pro tip.
Go for a late lunch and eat at the Tavern and enjoy whatever Troon is on tap. Watch the line start to form and jump on line at the right time

Family about 25 minutes from Troon and I’ll be visiting all week. Was gonna hit up Troon and conclave today.

 

My initial reaction was similar. Once I thought it through, I assumed he was visiting family.

What's the parking like at Troon? Coming for the first time today and was just curious how big the lot is. I'll be there early.

 

There's not much parking to speak of. Don't be surprised if you wind up parking on a sliver of earth on their lawn.

There are people who only drink DIPAs or TIPAs and look down on IPA or APA. It's silly, but whatever. Generally speaking yes, the D or T usually means a higher alcohol content.

 

At this rate he'll probably have a better shot of getting to Troon and getting crowlers. Treehouse already has like a 90 minute line and OH is out of cans.

I'll second Sammy, get there early and visit the tavern and try out some of the previously released beers.
