I do too. I think he realizes that a lot of his patrons are "whale hunters" and traders or whatever. So I'm sure he enjoys keeping them on their toes and getting the beer to people who will drink it (especially with the random week day drops, last minute announcements and the 1-3pp limit)

 

Last Saturday I heard reports of 30-60 minutes. I don't think they produced enough beer to be able to get to everyone in a 2 hour line. I think 20-35 minutes is the norm if you get there after opening and they still have cans. Keep in mind they are generally out in 2 hours of doors.

My only problem with Troon is that the limits should be 1-2 crowlers per person at most. I know limits is an issue anywhere, but I believe they sold out in like an hour or so last Saturday.

i agree. Today they are doing one that is 1pp, the other (which is 2.5 larger amount of crowlers) is 3 though.

Do they put in the price for each order? I feel like it would be easier and quicker to just have a $12 and $13 button that they can press 1-3x. Cuts down on human error as well.

Anyone know if Troon is currently selling the 20 oz Willi glasses? I broke mine and live in DC. I emailed Alex to see if they could ship; he's clearly occupied trying to keep you guys from dying of thirst.

If he is selling them, would anyone be willing to ship to me? I can definitely make it worthwhile. Thanks!
