Went to Brick Farm Tavern a couple of weeks ago and had some fine brews. Wish I could have taken some home, but some good food and beers as always to try. My new addiction will be visiting Brick Farm Market down the street. They have some legit fantastic cheeses and meats there.

Lasted a 45 min past announcement (with lowered allotments), ridiculous. Looked like there were a few different bottles there. One in boxes marked "Griss" (grissette?), and another with a bottle date of like Nov or Dec last year, I think?

Anyway, enjoyed my first trip to Troon and much more excited to try Troon for the first time!

    Any early reviews of Hyperbaric?

I’d think with only 300 cans the limita would be lower than 3 pp but whatever he’s doing working for him so it is what it is. Hopefully limits are low when he does bottles

Limits were immediately lowered to 2pp.

Can anyone that's been to Brick Farm Tavern lately give me an idea of how many Troon beers they normally have on tap? I checked their website and the menus only list "Hyperbaric Chamber"

haven't been there in a bit but i wouldn't be shocked if that is all they have.... it used to follow his releases.. basically if it was released it would be on at the farm... what's he done like 3 releases in the past 7 weeks?

One time I hit the tavern right as the last Troon beer was kicked. I've got nothing against Magnify Vine Shine but it was a bummer to drive all that way for that.

Troon beers don't last at the tavern nearly as long as they used to. I'd call ahead

yeah it's really quite sad... can't get a crowler... have to call ahead to even drink it on premise... it's great for Alex and "Troon" but it's really kind of become a complete shit show and it did so in just about over a year.... I love Troon and the beer, but when even the on premise brickfarm shit is running out the tavern and Troon need to brainstorm a new approach.... allow him to demolish the barn and build something bigger on property or if he wants to break free.. allow him to do so with the caveat that he still holds the brick farm in keg priority... i fear if things remain the way they are going for a full year they'll kind of lose traction... NJ is a populous state and more and more places are opening... regardless of how good things are if things of similar ilk start getting made in a close proximity he will loose traction.. peoples' brand loyalty is shit once the next hot shit comes out people flock to it

    but.. but...

so not only can one drive out there and not get the release, or any beers to go - they may get to try only one - one perhaps none - of the beers..

not sure what the solution is to the though...

The only time I've seen a Troon beer not last more than a week was Virtue Signaling which was released the weekend of New Year's.

My girlfriend and I were going to the Tavern for an early NYE dinner so I figured I'd get to try it then and not wait in line for crowlers that week.

Got there around 6pm that night and the keg had just recently kicked. Never saw a Troon beer kick in 48hrs and not have a back up keg.

I assume that people that drive a distance for crowlers get shut out they make the best of the trip and drink it in the Tavern that night. Must have been a low yield for them not to have more.

Call and hope. That's about it. The excuse of "We are open during the weekend" is no longer a reason.
