Was supposed to be ready yesterday but there was an equipment problem. Well, excuse to go back next weekend!

Obligate Scavenger and Patriarchy are pretty solid. Kudos to this new brewery.

Anyone try Phone Tag yet? I may need to swing by today and grab some and find out for myself...

Drinking right now. As usual for Troon its awesome. Super easy drinking.

Every time I try a new beer from them all I can think is "i think this is my favorite yet" and then next time Im saying the same again lol

I think Tom Stevenson helps out too: Triumph to JJ Biting to now Troon & Sourland Mountain Spirits distillery

I've never heard of another brewer being involved. Sourland Mountain Distillery is the project of a former Triumph founder (not Tom Stevenson) who, to the best of my knowledge, was involved as an entrepreneur rather than brewer. I could be wrong but I think Troon is all Alex.

I did wind up dropping in for a few minutes, tried a sample of Phone Tag. It was great. Hoppy, juicy, drinkable. Felt bigger than 7%. Alex seems to really have developed a signature flavor. Grabbed a growler which I'll drink tomorrow night.

You might be referring to Ray Disch, who worked with Stevenson at Triumph, and now at the distillery which is on the same premises; perhaps will see some unique alliances

Phone Tag was delicious, and one of my favorites I've had from Troon. Waaaaay too easy to drink!

Yea Disch is the guy. The distillery opens March 11th. Looks like just Gin and vodka for right now.

Does anyone know if the restaurant does flights or small pours?
