Yes, last time I was there I had all 5 Troon beers on tap in a flight, although I'm not sure they call it that.

    They do both.

edit: one thing I forgot to add is to keep in mind what's on tap at the brewery may not be on tap in the restaurant.

Per Alex, he took kegs of this over to the Tavern today, so I'm hoping that it'll be on tap when I get there around 5ish for my birthday beers and to finally try that burger.

Thanks! Last time I was there I was going to get it, but I ended up with the empanadas and gnocchi, which both were great. The people next to us at the bar got the burger and it looked great.

Based on all the positive commentary in this thread I think I'll check this place out today.

Hoping some of you could answer some questions for me so I know what to expect. Their tap list was updated 3/1, is that likely what's still on? Do they fill any standard size growlers or do you have to purchase theirs? Will they fill only 32 ounce, 64 ounce, or both? Finally, what's the average cost for a growler fill?

I didn't see this info in the thread. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks all.

@daleyke Tap list is still likely the same.

They fill any standard size growlers. I filled a Kane growler and bought one of theirs and filled both. They fill both size growlers.

I have a charge for $24 from Troon for 2 growler fills and the 32 oz growler. I think the growler was $4 or $5. So expect the growler fill to be around $10.

If you want to eat Brick Farm Tavern and don't mind the price: Empanadas, man. Empanadas. Also, the burger is fantastic.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks @beertoro - this is exactly the info I was looking for. I'm definitely looking forward to trying that burger.

    Thanks again!

Add the new big ale on cherries, "Witless Aphorism," to the 3/1 tap list though.

And remember the tap list in the Tavern may be slightly different from what's available for growler fills at the brewery.

This. Witless Aphorism was not on tap at the Tavern last night when I was there, but at the brewery.

I did. Not my favorite from Troon, but still good. I didn't find it very cherry forward as a couple people did. I actually got cinnamon before cherries, which I liked. The alcohol was well hidden.

To me the witless aphorism tasted like dank fruit juice with some tart cherry on the finish. I liked it very much. And not a hint of the 10.1
