Is there an issue with Head Hunter production/distribution currently? All of my regular local spots only have relatively old inventory (early June is freshest I've seen lately). It had always been reliably fresh, and I like to keep a 4-pack on hand at all times. Also, other Fatheads beers seem to be showing up on shelves as planned. I'll ask next time I stop in one of my shops, but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone else has noticed this. Location is NE Cincy suburbs by the way...Mason/Westchester area.
I usually see the freshest is about two months old on the shelf near me east of Cleveland. I still grab it when i want it, only had a few times it tasted off a bit, usually holds up good.
I'll gladly grab a mid Sept. 4-pack when I see it...hopefully soon. You're right though...Hop Stalker is a must-buy when it shows up.
