heading to the area for the 4th. staying nearTruckee and wondering best spots to buy some beer.
50/50 Brewery seems like a good spot for some brew and food, any must hit bottle places. Beer search and little light on this end.
    Thanks for any advice.

On the other side 80, New Moon foods has a decent bottle selection and occasional gem.

If you head to the south lae, Dart Liquors is solid.

Definitely go to New Moon on the way in. There is also a beer and wine shop in the Safeway parking lot on the same side of the 80. If you are coming in from Sacramento and driving up, there are multiple places to get stuff on your way in. Whatever you do, shop as soon as you arrive. Do not wait, traffic sucks up there on the holidays.

There are a few pub style bars around town but not much to brag home about. It is going to be unseasonably hot for Tahoe this weekend so you may not want too many Big Beers unless you are just relaxing around the house all day.

I was just up in the area and the Tahoe Mountain Artisanal Bottle Shop had a nice little selection. They also sell growlers to go of their own beer.

I believe you are talking about Florian's, which is unfortunately no longer open.
