This article is a couple months old, but I still haven't heard anything else about them. https://www.papercitymag.com/restau...ket-scientists-open-new-brewery-eado-houston/ Looks like they will do some Wild Ales and Belgian styles in Foeder barrels. Sounds interesting, and there is barely any completion for these styles in Houston. Has anybody heard anything else?
I remember seeing that name, Apogee, being thrown around a bit in the home brew circle... With selling to-go and anticipating 75% of sales onsite, at least they have the own-premise side of the equation figured out. That's definitely encouraging.
No mention of when they plan to open, unless I missed it. As with all new breweries...hope the beer is good. It'd be cool to have someone doing those type of beers in the area.
I think there was one sentence saying estimated opening is end of the year. Though yeah, that is not very specific, and could mean even longer to open then that.
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=757637271102883 Somewhat details their past year up thru construction, based on the photos and timestamps, end of year would be lucky. But man a brewery doing Belgians, that I can get into
I’ve hd a number of their (home-brewed) sours and they were highly impressive. Really good group of guys too.
