I found a used True single tap kegerator for sale online. Asking $500. anything I should beware of when buying? Are these easily serviced and relatively cheap to fix if they break? Any advice would be great.

You should figure out how old it is - either by them telling you, or using the serial number and going through True's support line. That will give you a rough idea of what you might be facing. A day before you go see it, you should have them plug it in, put a 5 gallon bucket of water in it and set the thermostat around 3/4's and see if it gets cold. Relatively cheap to fix? Nothing is cheap to fix and the service call and a few parts will easily take you right past what you paid for it. What else comes with it - coupler, regulator, tank?

I just looked up serial number and it says it was delivered in 2001. so im guessing 2000-2001. Includes co2 tank, coupler and regulator. The post says the thermostat was replaced 4 years ago.

    Easily serviced. Not cheap.

In addition, loud. Especially one that's been around. So decide if your space can accommodate the noise. You probably won't want it anywhere near your living room. Garage yes. Man cave maybe. $500 is a good price imo, if it works, it is clean and it has serviceable hardware included.

    Cheers.

Is it possible to run two 5 gallon kegs though it with a double faucet on the tower?

Absolutely. It'll actually hold three 1/6 bbls

Thank you for the replies. I bought the kegerator. I am currently in the process of cleaning it and getting it ready for the first keg. I am planning on replacing the beer line that is in it. Any ideas what the ID of the hose is? Ideal length?

3/16” ID. Get 10’, you can then cut it back as you tune in the balance.

Well, since 3/16" ID provides 3.00 lbs. of resistance per foot, thirty lbs. of resistance is going to be difficult to balance without overcarbing your keg.

My recommendation would be 6.5' and 12psi at 36* and evaluate it from there.
