Hows it going? Just curious what to expect with stain WLP 670 American Farmhouse Blend.
I've ready the description on the White Labs site, but has anyone actually used it? What were your results? More like Lambic or Saison? Or somewhere in between?
    Flavours? Optimum fermentation time.....etc, etc.
    In other words... Everything!
My sour program is getting off to a great start and was wondering if this strain could fit into the mix. I've been using bottle dregs, coupled w/ Belgian Sour Mix. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thanks again

Thanks for that, but as I said I've already read the description. I want to hear about personal experiences w/ this strain.

I used it in a dark wheat farmhouse ale. I was hoping for more brett character and didn't get it at all, even after a year in the bottle. I really enjoy the belgian character though, and have used it with brett C in my dry hopped grisette.

I got little Belgian or brett flavors from it. I won't use it again.

I have a batch going with it now that was brewed on Christmas, so a little over 2 months old. I bottled the extra gallon of it (5 gals in one carboy and 1 gal in another) last weekend and did some tasting. It had the saison character of a French saison (wy3711) and did have some Brett character. Not as much as I would like but I am going to let the 5 gallons go for another month or two and see if it has improved. I made of a batch of French saison last summer and pitched pure Brett (wlp653) in secondary and let that go for 2 months and it was much more of a Brett character.
