Not sure how many of you there are out there, but I've come into contact with a couple of you recently. I'm sure a lot of you are in the same boat as I am when it comes to craft beer and you sometimes wish you had others who shared your passion that you could talk to about what you've drank or plan to drink! I really hate when I'm talking to a coworker about something fantastic and they say, "Yea! Have you tried Bud Light Platinum?!" Anyway, I was wanting to see how many of you guys there are out here and maybe organize some kind of a community event. We have several restaurants around here that are BYOB, so we could easily organize a bottle share dinner or something! Is this something you guys would be interested in? Any suggestions or recommendations you'd like to share? Let's do this!
You know 5 is a decent group of people if we all showed up and brought a bottle or two each. I can't speak for everybody, but there are very few times when I want to open up that 750 mL or 22 ounce Imperial Stout when I'm going to be the only one drinking. But if you split that among a couple people you get to try more stuff and not get as wasted ! Zemam's lets you, Chef Alisah's (Bosnian restaurant), Cafe Desta (also Ethiopian), and there are a couple other ones in town too!
