Traveling to Tucson for a few days. Any must hit bars/breweries?

Any great bottle shops/recommendations on stuff to bring home.

Will be near the Tucson airport, but will have a car.

    Cheers!

Pueblo Vida has been blowing up down there. im not familiar with the area, as im in the PHX metro, but i would definitely hit them up. if lucky, you may be able to snag some cans.

fwiw, AZ is more about Facebook groups over BA. there are a few AZ beer groups on FB that i would check out or post on. its kind of a ghost town on BA when it comes to AZ.

assuming these hit Tucson, a few cans you might seek out..

    Dragoon IPA
    Mother Road Tower Station
    SunUP White Russian

Four Peaks and San Tan are some of the larger breweries, but wont say they are the better ones. cant go wrong with Hop Knot, Kiltlifter, and MoonJuice. just watch the dates.

Dragoon is easily one of the top two canned, distributed, readily available IPAs produced in the state (along with Tower Station). Dragoon is actually in Tucson, so you might want to stop by their taproom.

Don't know if you'd be willing to travel all the way to Tombstone to visit the taproom, but definitely try to drink a Tombstone beer somewhere while you're here. Their hoppy brews are some of the best available.

AZ Wilderness doesn't distribute packaged beer, but if you see some on tap, give it a shot. Also, McFate beers are really solid, especially Fatality, in case a keg makes its way down there. And since you don't get it in Illinois, I'd try to pick up some Modern Times for sure.

Awesome suggestions. Will definitely hit a few of those places.
