Gonna be in OK for July 4th, looking for good spots for beer/bourbon. Did a search on Google, but would appreciate more input on here.
To drink I would suggest McNellies for the best selection and atmosphere. To buy Parkhill' or Parkhill's South or B&B in Tulsa or Owasso Liquor and Wine in Owasso.
American Solera. I also think Biergarten in Jenks is worth the drive. Midtown Liquors, make sure to check out to check out the backroom where all the refrigerated beers are.
I agree that Biergarten is one of the better places in Tulsa to get beer. They allow you to buy singles of anything that they carry. It's great way to check out new beers or get a couple of the the big ABV beers that you don't want more of. That said, Parkhill's on 51st and Lewis has gotten to the point where they have a better and bigger selection. There were a handful of BA stouts that I was only able to find at Parkhill's (of the places I go to). They also tend to have the best prices in town. Either place is a win if you're looking for beer!
