    I obviously know about prairie, looks like a small brewery very limited taps and serve in plastic cups? Where might be a good place to find bottles tho

    Parkhill Liquor there are 2 locations that have pretty decent selections. Biergarten in Jenks is pretty decent as well.

    Midtown Liquor is nice.

    Bar-wise, R Bar, The Fur Shop, and McNellie's.

    +1 for Midtown Liquor. I can usually walk in there and find some limited release PAA stuff a week, maybe two, after it was put out.

    They're pretty much my only stop for shops when I'm through town. Maybe Biergarten if I feel like going over to Jenks, but...

    I love Biergarten, but if you don't jump on releases quick, the customers clean them out quick. I usually have better luck at Midtown..

    Thanks so much for the quick responses. I appreciate your assistance in my addiction. Since i did get responses what beers should I be on the look out for... I realize the distribution is pretty small but I'm a big barrel aged / yeasty / sour beer seeker.

    Prairie, Anthem & Coop have some beers in those categories, whether or not you see them on the shelf is another challenge. Choc sometimes as well. There may be an alright selection of Jolly Pumpkin as well

    Fassler Hall in the East edge of downtown. German place with good sausages and the duck fat fries were fantastic. OK draft selection and some bottles. Good time.

    I will be visiting Tulsa next week. I was looking over some of the stores and bars and noticed there may be an issue with having liquor on Sunday? Can I have a beer at a bar on a Sunday? Are liquor stores closed? Thanks for any input!

    Bar, yes. All liquor stores are closed on Sunday.

    yep, bars can serve you, but all liquor stores closed on Sunday. Gotta love Oklahoma's archaic beer laws :/

    Hah. Yes i am. Oh and fyi pirate bomb is on a few shelves in tulsa... i got 3, one to cellar, one to trade, one to drink :wink:
