Hi all, reviving this thread as I'll be driving through Oklahoma on June 3rd and spending the night in Tulsa. I noticed that Prairie just opened a brewpub, guess I'll pay a visit. Anything else I should check out either in Tulsa or OKC?

I was in Tulsa about 5 years ago and remember a great burger place that had a burger with bacon, pineapples and peanut butter. Anyone know the spot and is it still open?

Also, any beers of note on shelves right now from Oklahoma?

    Thanks to all.

Oh, and is Prairie's brewpub food any good? IF not, where else would be good for dinner? Lowkey, no wait, healthier options.

    Appreciate any advice.

I think the burger place you are referring to is Fat Guys. They are still around and have at least 3 locations now. Downtown, South Tulsa, and Broken Arrow. Haven't made it to the brewpub yet, but will soon. Heard the food is good though. Check out McNellie's if you haven't been (great beer selection and good food).

Besides McNellies & the New Prairie place; R-Bar, The Fur Shop & Fassler Hall. No help on the food, I don't do healthy when I'm in Tulsa, unless we're counting sushi.

Thanks man. I feel like I went to McNellies when we were there 5 years ago. Have you checked out the new Prairie Pub?

My daughter's friends have been to the brewpub and enjoy it, not sure if they ate, here are some places I have been when there and the food is all good
    Downtown
    Yokozuna sushi, asian very good
Juniper a little of everything from good to bad, good salads
El Guapo's Mexican, but then again why would anyone from Texas or New Mexico eat Mexican food in Tulsa, my daugher has found a place that has puffy tacos that she likes, if you want I will find the name, dive place
Dilly Diner Good Diner, solid breakfast, nice handful of taps
Bramble Breakfast & Bar Solid breakfast, nice beer list, great egg bread, basically bread cooked with an egg and cheese on top, not healthy but damn...
The Tavern Good food, a little pricey
Chimera Cafe Here be your healthy food, handful of beers
Dust Bowl This place made me like bowling again, pencil and paper, great fruity drinks for the girls and solid OK beers

    Cherry Street Area
Smoke Good food, lots of salads
Andolini's Nice taps and great pizza, make that epic pizza, kinda price on the pie, but the deal is the Calzones are the bargain here

    Bottle Shop
    Collins Midtown Liquor

Checked out the new Prairie place Saturday for lunch. Well worth a visit. 20 taps, about 5 of them guests, new one rotating as old kegs blow . Food & atmosphere was great. Service looked a little stretched & bring your wallet. Having said that, I will go again soon!
