    I'm so surprised that the barrel monkey is so highly lauded! That was the one that sounded the oddest and that I least wanted to try. Now I wish I had tried it.

    I heard someone say that Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare (the barrels that aged Barrel Monkey, Buffalo Bock and Tumaltuous Rare) are better bourbons than Jim Beam and Jack (I know, not a bourbon).

    Perhaps that explains their unexpected kickassery?

    it seemed potentially odd, but I was told it was really good, so I gave it a try and it really delivered, really nice balance and the flavors really worked well together.

    Yes sir I did! I was hoping to open it last night but wasn't feeling it. Might get to it tonight. I enjoyed the sample very much.

    Ditto. I think BA IPA's can be hit or miss but I enjoyed the shit out it.
