My starting lineup for today. When visiting my daughter in Nashville, Barrique is always a must stop. Happy Thanksgiving BA’s

 

Decided to add De Struise's Black Albert to today's menu

 

Working my way through a Founders Variety pack...

 

2022 Coffee Cinnamon B-Bomb from Fremont Brewing.

 

Brought three 4-pks:
Douglas Lager
Whistle Punk Tmave Pivo
Lumberbeard Hop Choppin

 

Lindemans Oude Gueuze with the turkey. Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout now.

 

Sad to say the Black Albert was less than spectacular....didn't age well. Oh well, live and learn.

So this is more what happened to be consumed today rather than a list or plan - those always never seem to survive reality.
So I ran the annual Turkey Trot 5k this morning, Some one from my running club brought a selection of post-race beverages, so I had a Jack's Abby Hoponius Union there. Got home, had more coffee while getting the cooking started. Once most of that was under way, had a JA House Lager and another Hoponius. I quick whiskey slug just before everyone arrived (Redemption Bourbon, in my case, Skrewdriver for Mrs. JrGtr)
Wine during dinner, 2019 Beaujolais Villages (the gamay grape seems to go very well with turkey)
Finishing the evening with a Heady Topper.

 

That's an amazing lineup. The Schwarzbock on the end is probably one of my top 3 Barrique releases due to how incredibly complex it is while still drinking like a 5% lager and finishing really crisp and clean.
