Interesting. I think I'll swing by today for a pint of Old Town IPA, and to try to get some more info. Cheers!

I'm very excited for this. Absolutely LOVE Tustin Brewing and everything they brew! Would love to see a Beachwood / Tustin / Stone collaboration.

Nice, I hit up Tustin Brewing all the time because they seem to have a direct pipeline to Russian River. Stone rules, so let's hope the collaboration is good.

Year of the IPA for Stone collabs so far (well except for the Wil Wheaton collab.)

Excellent. I could not be happier to see that it is a DIPA ... and that Simcoe is part of the hop profile. Can't wait.

Yet there is only one Stone collab I am stoked to try...

Just stopped by for lunch. Good beer. More Tustin than Stone, which I find to be a good thing.

I'll be taking my brother tomorrow night for his birthday, I imagine this will still be around then. I hope.

The Mothership Connection just blew today. I found it to be somewhat average. Stay All Day IPA was also decent but nothing spectacular. It's hard to break into the top level of IPA's/IIPA's these days. Both good, not great ... I left with a growler each of Blind Pig and Sculpin, 'nuff said.

Wait, what? They filled growlers of Blind Pig and Sculpin??

Also, I thought Mothership Connection was great. Tons of melon and fruit notes.

Mothership Connection DIPA was really good - solid hop bitterness, but delicious notes of grapefruit and tropical goodness. I think it's a really well done IPA. It's perfect for summer time; I would not mind having a growler of this beer.

Yeah they fill growlers of other breweries now?

TB growlers. They don't fill growlers from other breweries.

Yes I know that. Dude just claimed he left with growlers of Blind Pig and Sculpin. Read up

Yeah, Obsidian is that dude. Maybe he misspoke. Or maybe he's been getting fills of whatever he wanted but wasn't supposed to say anything...

Thus the "'nuff said." I talk too much when I am drunk.

Alright, I won't turn you in if you include me in your black market growler fills. Just kidding... maybe?..
