I went for a few Dodgers games during the playoffs and it had great atmosphere. Along with that were two of their house beers that surprised me - Portola Breakfast Stout and Old Town IPA. Then there were their decent guest taps - which now include Blind Pig, and another Russian River beer I’ve never seen on tap down here before, Happy Hops. All at reasonable prices too (I’m looking at you Haven/Provision’s). So, does anyone ever go here?
Nope, no one ever goes there... ;P TBC is/was actually the starting place for a lot of SoCal brewers who went on to start their owner breweries, such as Smog City (I don't have a full list, but you can find some stuff online.) They make some consistently solid beers, their only issue is that they are hampered by the size of their brew rig/space, so they can't really expand much. I believe I heard they are at max capacity brew wise, and are selling everything that they brew. They've also won a few beer world cup medals. They also are a regular spot for the annual Pliny the Younger release and have sold RR stuff for years.
That Old Town IPA has been my local “secret” go-to IPA for years. Love that beer. Their other beers are good to great as well, plus the guest taps are always quality. And the food is great as well. Been a fan for years.
