Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

Any cellar sales coming up?

 

Anyone see CW BA Stout anywhere? I accidently included one too many in a trade.

 

I realize this is late (almost 11:00pm), but TW in Roseville had some Waldo's sixers left earlier this evening. $13.99 (so much for the price leader; no one else had any, though). Tournament in Blaine had just singles left.

TG Pompeii bottles, and plenty of them, were at Fridley Liquor (unsure of the dates).

 

It's been a while since I checked, but Cub Liquor off 36 and Rice Street in Saint Paul had a few four packs. That was a month or so ago.

Anybody know what the selection is like at value liquors by TCF bank stadium?

 

Overpriced Natty light galore. Not a great store imo.

 

I made my first legal liquor purchase at that store. It was a 40oz bottle of Colt 45 Double Malt. They didn't bother to card me, which was upsetting.

It is a horrible liquor store with horrible prices and a horrible selection. It only survives because of the patronage of tailgaters who run out of beer and college students who don't know any better. They have pretty decent prices for Red Dog though.

 

Well shit, are there any other shops in walking distance of that area?

 

Dinkytown liquor is maybe ten blocks or so away...not a terrible walk. They have a much better selection, iirc.

 

South Lyndale has a small stack on display, also had some Xocoveza sixers. 04/08 Pompeii.

 

TW Roseville - Grabbed the last Waldo's on the shelf and a 4/8 Pompeii. Cases on cases of 3/24 Todd....

 

Hop Lab Blue from Bank Brewing with a 4/16 bottle date has hit town. Really have enjoyed their single hop offerings.

 

Heritage has Wados, two bottle limit, still Wee Heavy (may be worth checking out to compare to the BA version coming, Bank's Hop Lab Blue & Into the Black (Ba is gone). Forgive me, I forgot the name, but the Swedish fish looking beer is there too and looked cool.

 

What's up with the two bottle limit for Waldo's? Waldo is packaged in sixers. What are they charging per bottle?

Nevertheless, this beer is fantastic. Never have gotten such a huge pink grapefruit flavor in a brew before.

 

Stores aren't getting much, thus breaking up 6 packs so more people can get a taste.

 

Most popular sixer in a while if they're splitting them up.

 

I know this isn't really the right spot for it, but I have 3 Waldo's left is someone wants to IP trade for them, just wasn't really my thing

 

I'm curious when it was actually brewed because I boughta bottle on 4/15 at the MGM on 101&7. I had to double check the date on my phone when I picked it up.
This batch is good, but not on yhe same level with the other releases.

 

I think the dating means April of 2016.
