Anyone seen the Weyerbacher 21st Anniversary or Mole Stout around yet? It's getting harder & harder to find Weyerbacher in this state!

 

Does De Struise Black Albert make it anywhere in the cities? Trying to snag a bottle for a RIS tasting.

 

I didn't even know we got weyerbacher here, I always trade for it.

 

I've seen it at Devine in River Falls on many occasions, maybe worth a call.

It's getting hard to find. They were everywhere when they first showed up (maybe 4 years ago?) but from what I hear it didn't stand out & didn't sell well. Too bad, because I really like most of their lineup. I'm not holding my breath on seeing either of them, especially if they're allocated at all.

 

I honestly don't think I've seen a single one of their beers here. Agree it's a bummer, insanity is one of my favorite beers

I haven't noticed new Weyerbacher distro for a long while either. Rapids in **** Rapids has had the same 750s of Tiny RIS since I moved to the area nearly 18 months ago. They might have a couple others as well, but I can't say for sure. Some things tend to sit there so it's possible that they have what you're looking for. I even stumbled across a 2013 Tilquin Gueuze last time I stopped by there.

 

Coincidentally, I just came across several of the Weyerbacher anniversary beers (Seventeen, Eighteen, Nineteen) and Imperial Pumpkin Ale at Heritage this evening. No sign of Insanity though.

 

I believe Weyerbacher stopped distro here a few years ago and then came back with very limited distribution.

 

Just went to the source & Weyerbacher's website no longer lists a distributor in Minnesota.

Looked at the label for their 20th Anniversary brew (over a year ago) & I never saw that on shelves, so I guess they've been gone somewhere between 1-2 years. I've been getting my fix in WI for quite a while now because of the old beer cluttering up MN shelves; now I know why. Boo.

 

Based on last years release, how hard should I expect to have to try to find some Rum King? Ideally I would like to nab multiples for the winter...is this something that I should clear my schedule for? Or does it usually hang out for at least a little while?
