Honestly, I have no idea, but from Facebook it seems like they have it on draft at the bar quite frequently. I haven't had IA Sue since the Nova used to sell growlers. I didn't want to get stones thrown at me in the TG thread for commenting on the difference for the millionth time, so sorry for hijacking this thread, but damn it's good.

 

Cans should start showing up at retail toward the end of next week.

I actually thought 1/29 was a vast improvement over past attempts. Still a shell of IA Sue...

 

As someone who has yet to have IA Sue, 1/29 was the best FL sue I've had. Gonna make it over to the Nova hopefully Wednesday.

 

I thought 1/29 FL sue is some of the worst that I have had. It reminded me nothing of IA sue.

 

No problem. Always subject to change of course, especially at this time of the year with potential winter storm shipment delays etc but that's the general/likely timeframe at the moment.

 

None of the 12oz bottles or 16oz cans from Lakeland have been even close to IA Sue, some are merely good.

The Sue tastes the same to me, beginning from the early days at the brewery to now.

 

Indeed, the off notes of a lower bottom line and streamlined supply chain barely come through in the FL Sue.

 

One of these days I'm going to have to head to Decorah and try that Sue again. From personal experience, I prefer the FL Sue, but that's only because I wasn't really into IPA's back when I first had a bomber and haven't had one since. I don't really see how it could get even better.

 

No need to go to Decorah just to try Iowa sue. Go to Nova (the restaurant) and try it there, it is on tap right now.

 

I'm actually getting sent to Hudson for work tomorrow! I was planning on heading there and having one on lunch, but I just assumed it was Florida. Thanks for the heads up!
