Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2017

Is it ok to say that it has a smidge less nose and hop bite than the last batch? I think another week of letting it hang and maybe a gentle roll on the counter may help - but the 2 day old batch is letting me down a bit (and this is after having a pint of it at Grizzly's on tap tonight - which was superb) - and I bought a case. Eek.

 

Rum King and Mosaic Sue was at TW in Burnsville yesterday if anyone is looking for that.

 

Some Mosaic Sue and a single 4 pack of KBS at McDonald's in South Minneapolis as of yesterday afternoon.

 

Fwiw, I also tried Blissful a couple days after canning thinking fresh = better and I was not impressed either. It was pretty green. I let it sit for a week while I polished off my older purchase of BI. After a week or so of can aging it tasted great again. Your case should be safe.

 

Sorry! The allocation was so tiny with that one that I think most places only received a handful of bottles. I have a feeling a lot of places might've just split bottles amung employees. We're fortunate enough here at Scott's that I was the only one that had heard of it

Apparently only one bottle of each and they're storing them next to the gutter!

Anyone know if Blissful is back at South Lyndale or Elevated?

 

If Zipp's got it yesterday I would say there is a very good chance SLL and Elevated has it.

 

Only a few bottles left of KS at time of post, but plenty of Sosus (several cases that I could see).

 

SLL does indeed have it. Picked up a couple 4s based off this forum... pretty damn tasty!

 

KS is sold out, but I'm pretty sure there are 20-30 cases of Sosus. Picked up one of those and a 120 Minute IPA, which I've had on tap before but this bottle is literally the best IPA I've ever had. It beats even the few Tree House beers I've had, which I thought was impossible.

 

Stopped at Casanovas after work and grabbed a couple Kinge Sue and Tidal Disruption. No Strawberry Rhubarb so I stopped nearby at Spirit Seller and they had a ton. Also had several cases of KBS 4 packs still.

 

Anyone see any DDH Sue around the TC area or any KS yet?

 

Was at nova last night around 730 and KS was already sold out. Still a decent amount of sosus though
