Anybody seen any Noir stragglers in the wild?

Loved that vanilla. Thought the coffee was great too.

I stopped by Scott's for the Stagg Jr. It was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. I always assumed it was a case of Busch Light kind of place, and apparently it was that until new ownership took over a couple of years ago. It's a small space, but it has as much quality product per square foot as any other liquor store in town. It has a nice Belgian selection (all too rare these days), some off-the-beaten-path bottles (e.g., a variety of Bang beers), and a matching high quality liquor and wine selection. It has decent prices too. It's sort of a smaller, St. Paul equivalent of South Lyndale Liquors. Maybe I'm the last to catch on, but, in case I'm not, I just wanted to give some publicity to a little hidden gem. Thanks for the heads up.

 

First visit today at Yarmo Liquor, Guy working said the owner also owns Scott’s, Ken & norms and a couple other stores. Good first experience at Yarmo as well!

Kind of an odd request but with Founders not brewing Imperial Stout in 2018, has anyone seen 2017 bottles on the shelf anywhere?

 

Hm I know there’s several founders on the shelf at Minnehaha Lake but idk if I saw that one. Might be worth a call

 

It's 129.2. I personally thought it was much richer than it has been for the past three years.

 

France 44 website says they have it in stock.

 

Shorewood Liquor is releasing Buffalo Trace Barrel-Aged Hoodoo with Boom Island this Friday. It's supposed to be legit (haven't had the opportunity to test it out yet).

 

Is there BA java ten fidy or just regular around?

 

From what I read, the Java and Rum varients were taproom only releases this year. Not sure if things changed.

 

I've only see and heard about regular this year. They had those variants at the Rare Beer Fest this past March. I think we'll see more kegs float around over the coming months. Pretty sure Hopcat had one a month back for an event.

Dosvidanya at TW Roseville, one bottle limit. Surdyk's had both the regular and the rye, but very little left. Maybe they'll bring out more later as there is more BA Ten Fidy on their shelves today too.

 

Anyone see any Drekker drops today? They posted they would be doing one in the cities today but haven’t seen anything yet.

 

Thanks! I saw this and headed over to Surdyks. Grabbed the last 2 BA Ten Fidy and by the time I looped around the store another 1 magically appeared!

 

For you bourbon hunters - looks like Heritage just pulled some bottles from their cellar: both Weller and Stagg.

BA Ten Fidy as well.
