Just cracked one. Very bitter. And malty. No where near where Disgruntled left off. Bummer

 

Disgruntled is still in business, see where they are now for comparison. Beer was brewed, fermented, and packaged at Lupulin....

Brett will be back to brewing kick ass beers once operational at new location/brewery. He just had his brewhouse and tanks delivered. Guessing they will start selling beer in early Spring.

 

Pass. Will wait for 12oz bottles at retail as they already announced. Big ABV bombers are slowly going away thankfully.

 

This. Once he is fully operational at the new brewery, it will quickly become one of the top in the state.

 

I wonder if this is the same batch I had on tap at Chatterbox a few weeks ago. At the time I thought it was terrific and not at all what you are describing.

 

A bitter IPA?! What a disaster!

In seriousness, is that an intended Midwest IPA (in which case, great, finally!) or an NEIPA gone off the rails? I know the label refers to "juice," but that's de rigueur in IPA marketing today.

Top Valu on Central had a few as of yesterday. Was really thinking of trying it out. But at $23.99 (?) a bottle? Lol. No.

 

Drinking a 17 right now and the coffee has turned green pepper. Not so good.

Agreed. Not malty. A bit bitter, but not syrupy sweet. Which is a win in my book. It tastes similar to the other collabs they've done, which is good since I've liked them all quite a bit.

 

With the Bruery fire sale this summer do we know if this market is getting any new Bruery bombers? I'd like to pick up 11 Piper's Piping but I haven't seen it around town. Come to think of it I haven't seen it in Hudson either although I'm not there much anymore. Any leads on this beer?

 

I heard from one store that they are done here. I tend to trust what they tell me, but take it for what it is worth.

If you can wait a bit, I can still use my RS discount for a few more days and have my Cali guy ship it to me next time he ships.
