    Is it just me or has this thread slowed down a ton the last couple months? Maybe it's just because I'm checking more, but I always look forward to people talking about new stuff coming out or just released and don't see it as much. I guess IG is better for that? Maybe if there was a Beer Drinking Now thread for just the Midwest section. May be just me! haha

    Agreed. Part of it might just be the number of new releases. A new Junkyard release used to be big news. Now it seems like there's a new one every week. (sometimes two)

    That combined with the fact that you don't need to "Chase" things as hard in order to acquire them. More and more brews are lasting a little longer on shelves. Maybe MN has lost its winter time release luster? Besides Darkness, DSDB, and BA Sil, and BA Darkness(April 2019) I cant think of many releases that really garner a huge "Gotta Chase it now" following, besides maybe Barrel Theory's bottle releases. Iowa is kinda in the same boat too.

    It could very well be a early year drought for most breweries as they begin to gear up for new season....

    Yeah, you guys make good points. I guess as far as a Bottle Hunt thread, this does fill that need. I'd be down for some kind of Midwest "Let's Talk New Releases" thread, to weed out the great from the not so great since there is so much new stuff coming out, it'd be nice to know the word before buying a 4/6 pack.

    Thank God this is the case. Also note, all of the beer you mentioned need chasing after, don't. Darkness, DSDB, and BA Sil are still available in stores now.
