Anyone seeing the Bell's 30th Anniversary stout anywhere?

4 bottles of Pompei left at Sid's in Bloomington. They had a few bottles of Black Butte too. MGM Bloomington had Surly Wet and a wall full of expired beer (for those who like that sort of thing).

a few things in the Woodbury area..

Total Wine.. four pack of Wheaties still on the shelf. they also have the Mankato Samplers with the Pumpkin Grinder. as for Bells 30th, they show they have 2+ cases but they couldnt find anymore. i snagged the only sixer they found.

MGM.. Wheaties singles (6 or so). they also had Ballast Point Pumpkin Down (believe someone was looking for that). plus BP Commadore. lastly, had Pumpkin Grinder sixers.

I found Bell's 30th at Apple Valley 3. 2 bottle limit. They also had the new Schells, 10/2 Pseudo Sue, a few bottles of Pompei, the new Avery beer (can't remember the name), probably a few others that I'm not remembering.

Rumpkin? Seems like that is the one that is hitting most places right now. Or else I would guess Kaiser (imperial oktoberfest) if it was a 22oz bottle.

Question about Rum King bottles... I've never been to the bottle release for this before, so I don't really know what to expect. They go on sale at 11. How early should I be there to make sure I can get a couple? Thanks!

I'd say get there by next week.
Ok, maybe not that long, but seemed to be around for a few days last year and I easily picked up 2-3 in stores the following week.

Similar question. Fair State sour release. Likely hood to be around Saturday afternoon (when I finally get off work and can get over there and to Indeed.)

There was a decent line the first day they went on sale but they did not run out. Had friends that showed up around 2 and went right through. I would say you don't need to go that early. I'm planning on heading over there shortly before 11.

Never have been but considering they're planning it as a two day festival, I'm guessing there should be enough to go around.

Legal question, can they sell bottles on Sunday?

Was just going to ask that.. I assume there are no loopholes to no sunday off-sale liquor but the website says bottle sales at 11am both October 10th and 11th. I'm assuming a typo.

Aren't 750's considered half growlers or something weird like that and that's why taprooms are allowed to sell them in the first place?

I think somebody asked them the legal question on Twitter and they said they were good to go. Not sure why or how, but I'm guessing (hoping) they have it figured out.

If this is like last year or if they brewed even more, they will most likely have bottles at the brewery for a week or so. They brewed a lot last year, enough to keep it on draft at the brewery for a good time and also send out plenty of kegs, more than enough bottles at the brewery for a week or so and also plenty of bottles to hit distribution.

From what I understand with our laws, 64oz and 750ml bottles/growlettes are defined as containers legal for breweries to sell.

The Richmond Rye should last until Saturday. They had 750 bottles total. I was there last night, and grabbed one. I did see lots of people walking out with two. Had it on tap, and it's a solid beer with lots of barrel flavor, but it is hot right now. I think I'll give my bottle some time to mellow out.

Regarding the two being released today, I believe I read that there are fewer bottles. If that's true, then they are less likely to make it until tomorrow. Simply speculating.

250 bottles of each, per this article - http://www.startribune.com/barrel-aged-sour-release-at-fair-state-brewing/331103411/

Neither sound very appealing to me, with Rum King and Black Gold releasing this weekend and then Darkness Day in a couple of weeks I'm gonna pass before I run my 401k totally dry

They had bottles of Rum King quite a few days after the Hulabulloo release, also found it at stores a few weeks after the distro drop. As we know craft beer is only getting more popular so demand may increase, but it seems a lot of $$$ bottles dont fly off the shelves unless its Darkness or Bourbon County

Wet in Hudson (Casanova's, Chicones, Hudson Liquor & Knotty Vines). All those stores also got Founders Harvest.
