Yeah, I'm kicking myself for buying as much as I did on the release weekend, when I saw a crapload of it at Lowry Liquor just last week for less $$$. Speaking of, they probably still have some if anyone is looking...

Not impressed with the pricing. $12 for a 6-pack of pilsner that quite frankly, is not up to the standards we are use to in this area. Good luck with that. The IPAs better be awesome for what they are charging ($12-$14).

    Resin is worth it.

2-3 cases of Old Blaggard at Ale Jail if you can't seem to find it. Didn't appear to be any limits. All Sixpoint stuff was there, looked like Resin was gone.

Bengali is pretty good, but not worth it. Will try Resin in the future.

The Zee was in back. I have such limited room as it is that some stuff is an "ask-about" basis. I'd hate to have that sit on the warm shelf.

I think that was me who was looking for the yule. I got both two of this years and two of last years; I'm excited to compare them!

This may be a stretch (feel free to ignore since WI isn't technically in the midwest forum) but has anyone seen DFH higher math in western WI? I've heard that Nova is out.

^DFH Higher Math is at Casanova's in Hudson.

if i had to guess i would suggest Spirit Seller or Chicones. both locations normally get a large allotment of DFH and dont sell out as fast as Nova. Spirit Seller normally has their limited DFH at the counter and not on the shelf.

you will see all of the core beers, and the Cycliquids as well, with some rarities floating in from time to time!

Crisp is a highly-rated Pils in all of its markets it is served in, but perhaps you did receive a sub-par representation of it. FWIW the pricing at Surdyk's and others right now is $9.99, so the store you went to must have a PTC that is much higher than the rest of the stores.

We shipped you a pallet of it!

looking for the 5Beans next year!

    you will get both!

and look forward to enjoying some beers with you in MN!

    nice stash bro!

    value!

Cool that you folks care enough about a new market that you're following the posts and commenting. It shows an interest and sense of caring that is largely lacking - I don't remember another beer hitting the market with similar followup from the brewers. To quote some hometown heroes, "Color me impressed."

You may have heard that Eastlake has their RIS w/ Spanish brandy on tap. Apparently they are also selling bottles. I had a glass on tap while I was there, enjoyed it, and brought a bottle home. I'm definitely preferring it from the bottle... nice and thick, which seems to bring out the brandy character a bit more. I think they were charging 15 bucks per.
