Maybe a thread of it's own is in order for all this Dangerous Man release talk?? This is getting out of hand and off topic. So glad I couldn't care less about these types of releases. Makes people look insane. I agree with whomever said they would like to start a brewery that only does limited release barrel aged beers. People go nuts for anything put in barrels. It's getting to be ridiculous.

I just keged 5 gallons of a BBA (went cheapo with chips) vanilla, milk, chocolate stout. I'll give you the recipe if you let me drink for cheap, hell, I'd even brew a few batches for ya because I'm a nice guy and love beer.

I think it is over, however I have heard Dangerous Man would like to do a barrel aged release every month and their anniversary is coming up... so maybe a dedicated thread isn't a bad idea.

RE: the BA Silhouette release. Am I just not remembering or are tickets to an "event" new? I feel like last year I just bought bottles and showed up at the brewery to have a couple beers on tap. Don't recall tickets to an event.

They have done it at least the past 2 years. It is just a drink ticket.

Anyone know how to tell between the batches of BBA Biscotti Break that hit last spring, and the most recent December ?

The only difference I can see is the glass on bottom of the bottle is etched/marked differently

There is 12/03 Pompeii and 10/30 Zeelander at Top Valu Liquor (Central Ave) in Columbia Heights. They also had plenty of Smoove Opferator and Wooden Rooster in the cooler and a couple bottles of Light Speed (october).

Plenty of BA Yeti at Elevated WBL at $24.99 for those looking. I skipped it and picked up 11/23 Abrasive and Tallander. Tallander is delicious, I may end up drinking the 4 pack with this beef stew tonight.

I assume you are referring to my tweet about how I feel they owe us another batch. It has nothing to do with entitlement and more to do with DM respecting their fans and consumers. By not setting a limit (which should be done on the first day of the release whether or not demand has been there before) they are allowing the "beer brokers" to come snatch them up for their own personal trading and selling. I understand that DM feels very bad about this and i am not mad at them. But to the people I saw in line and have read about buying 6,8, as many as 12 bottles they should feel ashamed. That was disrespectful and greedy to the rest of us you saw in line and knew that you might be taking away a chance for everyone to try it. This is much more long winded than I intended! But any way Cheers! I'm off to a bottle share where I will be providing DM Belgium strong ale and and some project Pam!

Tallander is good. Reminded me of the 2011 Snowstorm before Schell's went all Belgian(y) with the Snowstorms. This is a beer I would recommend to my "no like the bitterness" friends.

Is BA yeti any good? Saw it last night but couldn't pull the trigger. Seems like so much. Tallander is good. Easy drinking

If you like the chocolaty stouts you'll like it. Haven't had this year's batch, but I've always remembered it has being heavy on the chocolate side. Not worth the $24.99 price tag IMO. Never have purchased one myself and likely never will.
