Twin Cities Bottle Hunt

I answered my own question, stopped in for a glass last night. It is a solid beer, really nice typical citra nose, but not the juiciness (i.e. Todd and Sue) that I was hoping for. Did not go home with a growler.

I was however a big fan of their most recent sour, a raspberry berlinerweiss. Nice tart, more complexity than a typical raspberry sour, with a fuller mouthfeel than most Berlinerweiss beers I've had. Reminded me of a raspberry version of Creature Comforts Athena.

 

Avery Vanilla Bean Stout was at Rum River, but they've sold out. At least that means we'll be seeing more in the area soon!

 

At Casanova: xhops gold, xhops gamma, Pompeii, Sue cans, Zeelander, Naughty 90.

Fair State.. New Years Eve..

 

Really hope I can land a bottle or 2 of that Fair State Barrel Aged stout. They have quickly become one of my favorite local breweries and have nailed every style I have tried from them so I have a lot of faith this will be top notch.

 

I've been blown away by this Saison Drei, it's phenomenal, I'll be there for the stout for sure.

 

Any Sue around the Roseville area?

 

If it's the makers BA fsb, I wouldn't get too carried away. I couldn't finish my glass.
