What's up ladies and gentlemen? FNG here. I have a few to report:

Barrel Aged Libertine (someone mentioned this a couple of pages ago) and BA Bigfoot at Lakeville Liquors (46 and Galaxie).
BA Bigfoot at Cub Foods Liquor in Eagan.
A couple of bottles of Boulevard Barrel Aged Quad at Cedar Liquors in Bloomington.

I'm going to continue to do a survey of the different stores near work and home over the next few weeks and will report anything good I come across.

 

Ken & Norms in S Mpls had CW Brewhouse Coffee Stout, Jubel, and BA Bigfoot as of Saturday.

 

Edina 50th & France is out of Abyss. Still a few bottles of Pentagram though.

Lakeville also had the CW and Jubel.

 

Haskell's in Plymouth has Pentagram...but it's $27 + tax. No thanks. They have plenty of BA Bigfoot though ($20).

 

$27+ tax?!?? Holy Shoot man... Is it like that everywhere?

 

Fresh Sue and G Nug at Nova, $8.49 per bottle. Still some Smoove Opferator too.

 

Uncle Jacob's at Elevated, they had six bottles left @ 13.99 a piece limit 1. Falls had Uncle Jacob's too, same price not sure how much they had left though. They also had Saturn, $2 a bottle limit 1. Zipps had Saturn, $1.99 a bottle limit 2.

 

Looks like they jacked the price up on that too

Definitely a price increase on the TG stuff. Few weeks ago it was 6.99 a bottle of Sue (at nova)

 

Wonder if this has anything to do with the tweet Clark sent about having issues finding hops? Probably not right? They would have had the hop contract for these batches a while ago, correct?

 

They sure did. On the plus side there was a one case limit meaning you could grab 12 for just over $100

Zipps only had 2 Saturn left as of 30 minutes ago

 

There are literally hundreds of breweries making pale ales & IPAs at much less than $8.49 per 22 ounces. Who knows the real reason behind the increase in price, but simple rise in the cost of what goes into the beer can't be the only criteria.

The cynical worm in my ear says there's more demand than Sue, so why not?

 

Yeah, this ain't community service here people. That's a big much for a lower ABV pale ale though.
