Twin Cities Bottle Hunt

these were bottled last Monday 6/15 and are supposed to have some process improvements incorporated that will enhance aroma though I have yet to try any myself.

 

lol... yeah that is exactly what I did last time and trying to avoid that mistake.

 

I was at Cellars in White Bear Lake today and they had two bottles left. 15 bones. Happy hunting!

What's the price for 1349?

 

Saw 1349 Black at Lunds on Hennepin tonight. No idea of the price. It isn't marked at all (that I saw) but I saw a case of waxed beer on the floor near the Pentagram and picked it up to see what it was...

 

FYI the new Pseudo Sue is far better compared to the last batch from a month ago. Casanova's in Hudson has 4 cases of Starkeller Peach left along with 4 other TGB IPA's. Truly a great place to go for craft beer, always something new! They also just got in Wrath of Rocky (imperial BB aged brown ale) from the Brewers Gone Wild series.

 

Limit of 1, $19.99 I believe.

I passed on it. Will try to have a pint at the brewery for a reasonable price. Need to try mole smoke too

 

$19.99? really? the norway version was only $8.99. cant see why the locally brewed version would be more.

 

Maybe a stupid qualifier here but can someone say what the size is being sold? Lervig's was $8.99 for a 12 oz bottle and also has an alcohol content of 13.49% (coincidence?).

 

Isn't this release also from Lervig?

I was told that the 1349 on tap at the brewery was brewed in Norway.

 

I went there last night. Picked up 2 and left the last one for someone else. That was at about 6pm.

 

I could also have seen this being $13.49, but I don't think so. I didn't pay a ton of attention b/c I didn't plan on buying, just getting to the brewery to sample.

 

no, this was brewed locally, hence it being available in our market.

and now that i look at Falls' image, they appear to be much larger than 12oz bottles. they are 750ml.

The 1349 Black is very good, had a glass at Surly last night. Selling it for $7 for 10oz. I would have never known it was 13.49% alcohol, not boozy in the least bit. My girlfriend got the 1349 pale and that was good too. If you can't make it to the brewery I would recommend getting a bottle of the black.

 

Sounds like Casanovas got quite a bit of Starkeller Peach for those looking for more
