I don't think so - I think they are still just making enough to supply the tap room... told me on Saturday that the weekend before they sold the most beer they've ever sold - after they went to 11 taps, they haven't been able to have more than 8 on since that weekend... they pulled lil shimmy off this past weekend because it was selling so fast, they wanted to make sure there would be some left for this coming weekend...

but their e-mail a few weeks back seemed to hint at expansion this year....

I heard a similar story when I was in there on Sunday that there were no current plans for any canning but that they have acquired an additional space for brewing.

I overheard them talking with a patron about something that sounded like expansion on Saturday as well

Is there a description I missed? Also, it looks like two different beers both called Feel the Realness - one an IPA and one a pale ale with different ABVs. That’s weird.

Sup fam, we got two fresh suds drops this weekend and one of them is a first-time brew. Starting tonight, Thursday, we will have on tap a new APA called "Feel The Realness" that is 5.9% ABV and showcases Galaxy, Citra & Enigma hops creating a big ole obfuscated & thicc fruit bomb. Later in the weekend, most likely Saturday, we will be dropping a fresh batch of another one of our IPAs called "Crush It & Kill It". This beer is furnished with Azacca, Mosaic, Citra & Galaxy hops and comes in at 7.6% ABV. All that papaya and mango, pulpy & pithy fluff folded onto pilsner, British pale, oats and chit. Do work son. Finally, we would be remiss if we didn't bring up the new beer that slipped out last Sunday for the Superbowl. This old thing was lathered with boysenberry and mango purée. Sweet and dry. A group hug of fresh blackberry, raspberry syrup and mango sherbet. BraZen swagger of Belgian yeast; earth, pepper and spice twist in the wind of the finish.

Ah, thanks. That DOES sound good and refreshingly low ABV. But the post above ours does show two seemingly different beers with the sameness name.

They're getting some equipment that'll help facilitate easier double batching and a couple of fermenters that can handle holding double batches.

The Juicy Busey Variant with Galaxy and Motueka is terrific! I know that brewing Saisons with Motueka is trendy but TE did a great job! The Motueka adds soft, plush, tropical fruit notes to what is a good base Saison. It's creamier and less carbonated than many Saisons. And it punches hard at 8.3%

Yes, I thought it was a very nice Tripel - more bitter than most I've had. TE is really good at hopping up Belgians. I really liked the way they used Motueka in Juicy Busey.

Feel the Realnesss is pretty solid. A little burn, but super easy to drink.

I think I prefer this version of Crush It And Kill It to the last one. This is a little juicier and more fruity than the last, to me. I got a little onion/garlic last time, not picking it up in this version.

Agreed on the Feel the Realness. Picked up a growler earlier today. Fantastic nose, and really nice flavor as well. I was asking myself if there was some burn to it and I told myself “no.” Really subtle.

Saved half the growler for tonight and we’ll see how it drinks.

    Interesting that you said that.

I got there when they opened.

When I ordered the growler there was some inaudible discussion between the two fellows behind the bar and I thought they were going to tell me “no.”

It wasn’t marked for no growlers so I guess they honored it and then changed the board.

    Glad I got it!

Also had Feel the Realness yesterday - agree it is really aromatic, big punch of aggressive hops, my only quibble is its a bit green (which is often true of any of their fresh releases), but it will be even better in a week or so.

Really like the Nosh Strata quite a bit (maybe more than the Realness), and Crush it and Kill it was quite crushable for a bigger beer.

We hope you all celebrate the day with a loved one, or two , and on the strength, let's all consciously love each other unconditionally everyday cause the world could always use more of that. We got a few fresh batches of returning beers coming at ya this weekend. Starting tonight, Thursday, we will have the resurgence of our American Brown Ale "Jersey Squirrel". A 6% ABV winter pounder brewed with American caramel malts and some English chocolate, there’s a wink-and-a-nod to English browns in the complex, yet balanced taste. Finishes dry and assertive. Notes of caramels and chocolate swirl, coffee and raisin bread. On Friday, after we kick some kegs, we got the "Chuck's Garage" & "Clincher" coming back around. "Chuck's Garage", everyone's favorite sipper, is a 4.7% ABV American Light Ale. In honor of the spot where it all started. No thrills, easy drinking, dry and crisp, touch of steamed corn, light and fizzy. "Clincher" is a 6.3% ABV American Pale Ale that highlights a heavy hand of Mosiac & Cashmere hops. Sweet like a bag full of smashed strawberries, shaped by biscuits, this hoppy cake is drenched to the bone with that dank diggity. On Saturday coming back around again is "Crooked Spoke Adjacent". This is a 7.2% ABV American IPA with gobs of Citra, El Dorado & Mosaic that is creamy & fruity rife with fleshy nectarine, pomelo, and a needling of pleasant earth. Finally, we are running a little V-Day inspired raffle for charity this weekend. We just got a new batch of beanies in so for a $1 you will get entered into a raffle to win that and the cute bear that is in the pic at the bottom of the newsletter. All funds will be donated to the American Heart Society and it's cash only.

They put their taplist on Untappd, also on Beermenus and their own website... just added Chingas and Stay True as on deck to be tapped during the weekend. Not sure how well they keep all three sources in sync an up to date throughout the weekend though

Recommendations nearby for food? Other Breweries?

Closest food - River Grille around the corner on River Road (also a couple crafts on tap), for good Italian deli, Pascarella's up the street on Watchung, across from Bottle King (can get hot or cold sandwiches to bring to TEB If you wanted). Bit further is Marie's Italian Specialties on Shunpike, BYO, good Italian food and also sandwiches - been on Diners, Drive ins and Dives... One of my favorites, but closer to a 15 min drive is Stirling Hotel - great food and beers.

Untied Brewery is 8 mins away in New Providence - still only a few weeks old. Beers are OK if you're looking to hit another place, but not worth going out of the way for. Has some promise though...
