Going by their language, it seems permanent to me.

Now I'll *really* never see it in Wisconsin again.:wink:

I find this to be odd marketing. Maybe they sell 99.8% of production to twins fans.

It also truly embodies both brands’ belief in “One Team. One Territory.

One Territory? what is the meaning of this? sold in MN only?

They said on the FB 'Twins Pils is available throughout our five-state distribution area.' It does seem an odd bit of of inter-state marketing. Maybe recruiting new Twins fans? Or maybe reconnecting former Twins fans from the 80's? I admit to being the latter. The Kirby, Hrbek, Brunansky, Viola, etc era was one of the most fun teams to watch imo.

It is a nice looking label. Maybe I'll head to Kenosha one of these days & pick some up to rekindle the 80's nostalgia. Being able to enjoy while watching the White Sox beat the Twins this year will be a bonus.

Maybe they will make a can/label for each of the 5 states.

Let me know where you find it, the Kenosha Woodman's doesn't seem to carry Summit anymore.

Well, they'd be competing with Goose Island's Sox Pale Ale, so we'll never see it in I'll.

I'm still going to buy it, but this is a weird move. I hope it doesn't change.

Their sponsorship with the White Sox was not renewed in 2022. The Right Field Goose Island seating section is no longer sponsored, and GI is finished brewing White Sox Pale Ale.

You can still buy the batch they released in October at Woodman’s Buffalo Grove (perhaps other locations as well) for $4.49 a 12 pack.

It was a decent beer. I wonder if they will sell it in the future without the Sox tie-in.

I'm a huge Twins fan but even I think this is very strange marketing. If the Twins were coming off a World Series championship I would understand this change but basically just putting a big Twins (coming off a near 90 loss season) logo on the can seems like a bad idea for selling the beer anywhere besides Target Field.

I fear that perhaps this is Summit's last gasp effort to make this awesome beer into a better selling beer and if this rebranding effort doesn't increase sales they will discontinue making it.

Yeah, I've seen the Sox-branded cases (12 packs?) at a few locations -- I think Binny's Gurnee even has some. Didn't know the sponsorship was over.

It was a decent Pale, nothing remarkable, but easy-drinking.

I heard most love about Keller Pils outside the state of MN so this is strange. Before Summit retracted their distribution this is the only beer that people wished they could still have access to in those areas.

Summit Keller Pils is the one beer always in the fridge. Usually it is KP + summit seasonal. With the Winter Ale gone, it is the only Summit in the fridge.

looking here, i'm going to have to wait until August for the Ofest unless some EPA sneaks in.
