Today I opened a bomber of Hoptimus Prime by Ruckus Brewing Company and to my surprise it had a twist off cap. I know a lot of macros utilize twist of caps on their 12oz bottles. My question is has anyone ever encountered a bomber with a twist off cap or know of any breweries that use them for large format bottles.

    Cheers.

I had a Shiner beer (I think Christmas) that was in a 22 oz. screw capped (edit: twist top) bottle.

It's a solid DIPA. Nice pine and grapefruit in both the smell and taste. I think that then overall rating on here is a little low but that's just me. If you are looking for a hop bomb you won't find it in this one. At $7 for a bomber I would pick it up again. Hope this helps.

Cool name! Lol... Twist tops on bombers isn't a bad idea , recap it and put it up. Usually im drinking a bomber alone and wouldn't mind it at all, but then again I have corks for the same reason.
I need to try me some of this "Hoptimus prime" the brewery hit me up on twitter suggesting it lol

Peak Organic from Maine uses twist off bombers. As a home brewer I am decidedly anti twist off.

I don't homebrew but I am not a fan of twist off caps either.
