Jai Alai followed by white oak Jai Alai. I try to do this every time I get my hands on white oak, just so I fully appreciate it.

Also tonight I just did Narwhal followed by BA Narwhal.

Drie Fonteinen Oude Gueuze 2014, Oude Gueuze 2001, and Oude Gueuze 1997 was a good combo.
Last night did Mikkeller's SpontanCherry Frederiksdal followed by the Malaga and Chardonnay versions. It was interesting to s e the difference in barrels.
Speedway Stout followed by the BASS was awesome to see how much the barrel added to an already great beer.

Ok, 4 same brewer back to back to back to back. Best "session" lineup at a single brewery I've experienced.

Just enjoyed Piney River Brewing Company's (Bucyrus, MO) Missouri Mule IPA followed with their Old Tom Porter. Picked 'em up the other day while returning to CO from a road trip to OH and returning via MO.

The IPA is mighty fine and the porter is solid. And, for me, it's quite enjoyable to jump between totally different styles during a beer session. The way I figure things, my taste buds don't get desensitized to any particular style. It's not that I wouldn't (or don't), say, drink several different IPAs (or whatever beer style of choice) in a row, but I sense that doing so probably gives short shrift to the latter IPAs as opposed to the first one as far as being able to fully appreciate their nuances.

    Or something like that...

I believe I'm going for an Aecht Schlenkerla doppelbock next, just for something completely different...

I was going to say Tumbler followed by the standard SN Pale Ale. The maltiness of the Tumbler really sets your palate up to appreciate the, by today's standards, low key hoppiness of the pale. Being able to pair those in the Fall mix pack really renewed my appreciation for SNPA which is easy to take for granted.

It would be Our Daily Bread, followed by any other higher abv IPA that Steady Habit produces. I don't work for these guys, I don't know them, and I don't have an agenda. The beers are that good. That's my answer.

I want to do Calm Before the Storm and Victory at Sea back to back. just can't seem to find any 6 packs of VaS lately.
I love doing a back to back for comparison every chance I get, you always discover new things.
Sculpin & Grapefruit Sculpin... not really a fan of Habanero or else I would do that too.
2 weeks ago I was able to do a sampler with Firestone 18, Stickee Monkee, Sucaba & Parabola. Parabola was my favorite.
Another good one I did once was Stone Go To, Stone IPA, Ruination & Enjoy By in one evening.
