I'm heading up from Richmond to NJ in a few days and will have a little bit of time to stop by Philly in the morning. I've been wanting to try Two Brother's Domaine Dupage for quite some time now and noticed they are in PA. Can anyone recommend me a few places to look that carry this? We'll be driving up I95 so the closer to the freeway the better but we'd be willing to go into the city.

I'd also love to find some Alesmith and any other local/PA belgian style beers if anyone has recommendations. Also I've heard something about having to buy cases at a time. Preferably I'd like to find a place where I can buy a six pack of the two brothers or atleast a mixed case with other things.

    Thanks!

You only have to buy a case if you're buying from a distributor. There a plenty of places that sell singles and sixers.

If you're coming up 95, consider stopping at State Line in Elkton, MD and Total Wine in Delaware, both are minutes from 95.
    In Philly, try Beer Heaven.

Bottle shops that might have this:

    Hawthornes
    Beer Heaven
    The Bottle Shop
    The Foodery (2 locations)
    Local 44 Bottle Shop
    Food and Friends

All of these are actually IN the city, with Beer Heaven probably being the closest off the highway.

If you hit State Line, which is 5 minutes off I95, recomend Brewers Art Belgian style beers, especially Resurrection, Ozzy and the Green Peppercorn Tripel:

They had all three this past Tuesday when I stopped there. Brewers Art is a Maryland company, not sure if you'll find them in PA.

According to the seekabrew website Two Brothers is not distributed to MD or DE. PA is listed as limited (regional) distribution.

Another PA beer store that is not too far off of I-95 is Pinocchio’s in Media, PA:http://www.pinbeer.com/pinbeer.asp?search=true

The beer of interest is listed on their website:

“Two Brothers Domaine Dupage Biere de Garde 12 oz”

You might want to call ahead to ensure it is in stock.

    Cheers!

Brewer's Art beers are available in the Philly area. Brewer's Art beers are contract brewed at Sly Fox in Pottstown, PA.

    You can read more below:

“In 2008, The Brewer's Art started a contract brewing partnership with Sly Fox Brewing of (then) Royersford. Production of 750 ml cork-and-cage-finished bottles of several brands was the initial project, followed in 2010 by 12 ounce cans of Resurrection Ale. As with the draft products, the brewery prioritized for its home market until Sly Fox's recent opening of their new plant in Pottstown, which enabled them to produce more canned Resurrection. The logical next step was to reenter the Philadelphia market, and the Brewer's Art team is excited to return to one of the nation’s most vibrant beer cities, starting with its cans of Resurrection.”

    Cheers!

right now, the Foodery at 10th & Pine has the Two Brother's Domaine Dupage. $2.95 for one bottle. I can't remember what discount they do for six (call them, they're usually quite friendly).

I'm not big on amber-y biere de gardes, but this was decent.
