Headed out to Two Brother-Aurora Round House Summer Fest (fest formerly known as Hop Juice), and was checking forum for list of guests taps....and to my surprise there are "no" post at all about the event. Not sure if I should be disappointed that one of Chicagoland's early & successful craft brewer's annual fest does have any mention. Or just chalk it up to a much busier craft beer-scape. Lot's of stuff going on this weekend, with the summer solstice and all. Well, with live music out-doors and plenty of tap DIPA, I know at the very least I'll have some fun. Big guest taps will be value-adds.

I went last year. Guest taps were not very good. Best bet was if you were VIP and then you got to go into the Two Brothers "library" room and drink some older beers they were aging (Sours, BA Stouts, etc). Other than that, enjoy your Hop Juice!

Guest taps selection was almost non-existent. One of the offerings was a Light Lager. 9-oz cocktail cups of Hop Centric were $6. Now I know why there weren't any posts about this fest.

Here's my untappd checkins from last year's festival...Think it was 6/22/13. The only problem w/ the guest taps is that they were in only one location (i.e.:far right hand side if you were in front of the stage). There were also some specialties inside (I think VIP only room).
    Felix - New Belgium
    Oatis - Ninkasi
    Rye Pale - Triptych
    HopCentric
Captain's Reserve IIPA - Captain Lawrence
    HopCentric Black
    2011 Bare Tree
Cuvee de Tomme - Lost Abbey
Port Barrel Wee Mac - Sun King
    Samael - Avery
There were a few other ones I didn't try, as these were the cream of the crop. Needless to say I was parked near the guest tent all night. Hope this helps!

Guest taps were pretty weak this year... you could pay $6 for a 12 oz pour of Daisy Cutter. The 2012 Hop Centric Black was very good though
