Anyone else dissapointed with this beer? Way too light on flavor.. like drinking water with Crystal Light mixed in.. Is there promise in sitting on this in the cellar for a while? Kind of hesitant to buy any more at the $10.99 price tag.

I was hoping someone would try it out before I tracked it down.

Haven't tried it yet but Hoodwink is much improved from fresh, so maybe there's hope...

Just had some, I agree it is a bit light. Not sure if aging will really help it. Slight amount of tart, it was good but nothing too special.

Tasted too much like red wine too, very tart aroma but not on taste.

Based on the ratings I'm glad I didn't buy it. Didn't care for Askew either.

Tangent was terrible. $11 drain pour. Tasted like it was aged in Franzia barrells.

This is precisely why I use BA. Everybody and every brewery makes mistakes and/or has a different vision than the majority of what is good from time to time.

You can not name a single brewery that has not put out a beer that is not "good" or a brewery that hasn't put out a beer that the majority of BA's see as a fail.

I now know to not drop a penny on this beer. More money for other beers. Had it not been for this thread/website, I would have wasted about 12$, thinking that it must be good just cause its a sour and is by a pretty good brewery.

Sidekick is very good. I enjoyed revelry. Red Eye was good fresh, horrible once the coffee dropped off. The other 20 or so beers I've had from them were subpar at best.

I liked it. Wasn't special, and while i'm not sure if I would get it again, I enjoyed it.

    I loved the Askew however.

I stick to minature golf, less of a time commitment, and I can bring the kids. The place I usually go to has a par of 52.

missed this thread when it was first posted. really, really disappointing brew. thin and completely lacking in flavour of any kind. $11 down the drain.
