I'm inclined to make two separate trade offers for each of these two beers, Life is Like and Rare. I've been dying to get my hands on these two beers. I'm curious if either or both of these offers are possible. If not, how far off am I? I also have some CS RS beers (persica and nightmare on brett), some bomb, vanilla noir, a cafe royale, a very angry beast, some KBS, a sexual chocolate, and a couple sump I could add/substitute. Please help! Thanks!

Lou Pepe (not entirely sure of the trade value on this one) + Backyard + Parabola FOR Life is Like
Mocha Wednesday + Backyard + Parabola FOR Rare

I think trading over $4$ is the only way you are going to get those types of beers unless you have something of equal rarity. At some point rarity has to be taken into consideration. What if I offered $65 worth of Coors for a Rare? Obviously that wouldn't work. Hence it's obvious that rarity of the beers being traded has to be taken into account when thinking about $4$. Makes sense, no? In this particular situation I have no idea what's fair. People make their own decisions.

1st offer - maybe, depends on what the Lou Pepe is
    2nd offer - no

    just my opinion

I might be inclined to trade you a Life is Like if we can tinker with the trade a bit. Send me a BM.

The problem with the trade for Rare is that anyone with Rare likely got Backyard and Parabola is pretty easy to come by. Firestone distributes to Illlinois, for example. Not that all Rare is in Illinois. The Mocha seems like a good start though.

I've found that lambics typically trade at a premium because many people won't trade away a prized lambic for anything other than another lambic. People, including myself, overpay for them. I don't see why the Lou Pepe shouldn't be able to go 1:1 for Life is Like. This also depends on the vintage and style. I think the Kriek is probably the most in demand of the three. The Rare may take a little extra in addition to the LP. Good luck

Let us know if this gets done, Dino. Sounds interesting.
