I have both bottles and cans on hand. The only difference between the two is that you get a couple more sips from the can.

I had this on draft a few times and I have not liked it...I'm having it right now, out of a can, and it is a lot better than what I remember on draft. That doesn't make sense to me..those kegs must have been old or something. This can is just a couple weeks old

On tap by a mile. Most places here are bottle only, just check the date.

I haven't been able to taste a difference, but I prefer cans just because I like cans.

Equally fresh, from both a can and a bottle simultaneously, not a likely feat for me to pull off.
I'm inclined to say can, because I've liked the GF Sculpin better from can, but I don't know.

All beers are better in DARK bottles.

This ^^ There are a few beers I've had that are surprisingly better from cans, but 2Hearted is NOT one of them. I have tried it several times, desperately wanting to love it, and I've been severely disappointed every time. And yes, 2Hearted on tap is THE SH*************T!!

Out of curiosity, do you recall the age of the cans and bottles?

Very strange. If a can doesn't impart any flavor, seals it better, and lets less (no) light in, how could it possibly be worse?

On a semi-related note, has anyone had Finestkind in bottles and cans to see which is better?

One way a canned version could potentially be worse is if more air (oxygen) ingresses during the packaging process.

It would be interesting to know what the Total Packaged Oxygen (TPO) levels are for the Two Hearted canning line and the bottling line.

    Cheers!

I recently had 2 month old Two Hearted batches from can and bottle. Can held up noticeably better.

Not exact dates, but both were rather fresh (less than 3 weeks) and I clearly remember the cans were fresher than the bottles.

I prefer the can version..probably cause i am outdoor when i am drinking it from cans and everything is better outdoors

Slightly better in cans IMO - can't wait for 12-pk cans coming in September!

I would think it would stay fresh longer in cans. I've had both but never head to head. But its better on draft for sure.

I've always noticed a lot of variability with Two Hearted. I'm chalking it up to me and the fact that I've drank more two Hearted over the years than any other beer.

Bottles and cans are not good by me. Tap is only way I will drink it.

Had Centennial IPA only a few weeks old from cans last week and it was HUGE letdown vs bottles and tap. Maybe its just me.

    Enjoy

I've had 2 hearted on draught in cans and in bottles. Let's be honest- it's a fantastic beer either way and there is no downside to the can. I'd pick can over bottle for this one anyday.

    1. I have the ability to always get really fresh Two Hearted

    2. I'll never buy it in bottles again.
