In my mind, these two beers are pretty similar in a lot of ways. They're both nicely balanced, neither is widely considered to be the absolute best in the style, and both hold a revered position in the pantheon of American beer.
If you could pick just one, which would it be?
I'm leaving a "Neither" option for those who really don't like either beer. Hey, it could happen. Cheers!

I love both beers but I can only drink one year round.

Celebration takes Two Hearted outside and punches it in the face.

I voted Celebration because it is one of my favorite beers. I never knew it was so loved until I started reading here. To be fair though I have never had a Two Hearted. So my vote is not fair.

That's what I think makes this question interesting. Some people might enjoy Celebration more because it's not year-round. On the other hand, for me and a lot of other people outside of Bell's distribution, Two Hearted is just as uncommon whereas Celebration is distributed nationwide, even if that happens only once a year.

I look forward to Celebration every year and always get a keg of it. That being said, I think I could drink two hearted for 50% of my beer and not be mad at all.

    Two Hearted all day.
SN just...idk, I don't like their signature hop bite.
Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Both are great, but Celebration takes it for me. It has more flavor in my opinion.

I will take the "availability" component out of this question and pretend like I have a freshly poured pint of each in front of me.

Slight edge to Sierra Nevada. Perhaps it's just my love of Sierra Nevada and familiarity with them, not sure, but Celebration always impresses me every time I have it. The beer is just fantastic.

Makes me sad that I have neither at this time.....:slight_frown:

tough one. its been like a yearrrrr since I had Celebration, but I think I'm going to give it to Celebration.

Both are good, but I don't get Bell's and not a trader.

And I think Celebration has a little more malt presence that I enjoy

    This was a tough one

Bell's doesn't distribute in NJ. The first couple of times I had Two Hearted I didn't like it at all and thought all of the BAs singing its praises had to be crazy. I am convinced that those bottles must have been old. I've recently had it again. It is a terrific beer and when it is sold in NJ it will be a regular in my fridge.

So I am forced to chose between a seasonal or a beer I can only get occasionally.

I am going to go with Celebration. But it is a close call.

This is BA. Don't let the fact that you have never had a beer stop you from having an opinion about it.
