If you could choose only one, which would it be?

You may appreciate this story. I have been homebrewing since 1995. A loooong time ago I read a Celebration clone recipe in Ale Street News (I still have the recipe cutout from the newspaper but I must confess I don’t know the year of publication). I have homebrewed that clone recipe lots (lots of batches and lots of years). I had my first Two Hearted Ale a number of years ago (10 years ago?) and I immediately went Wow! This beer is awesome. It took me a couple of years but I tracked down a clone recipe for Two Hearted (Three Hearted). I brewed my first clone of Two Hearted and my ‘house’ IPA immediately went from Celebration to Two Hearted. I have brewed two batches of Two Hearted clone every year since I experienced that ‘revelation’.

Don’t get me wrong. Sierra Nevada Celebration (and my clone) are tasty beers but Two/Three Hearted Ale is AWESOME!

    Cheers!

Two Hearted all the way. I mean, I really enjoy Celebration, I just celebrate Two Hearted year round.

Two Hearted for me. I like Celebration, but if both are placed before me and I can only have one, it's Two Hearted.

Celebration wins for me...I look forward to it every year. Having said that, I love Two Hearted as well.

Celebration all the way for me. I've never been a fan of Two Hearted (or Bells for that matter). Also, fwiw, I am a former Hoosier, so I've had my fair share of Two Hearted over the years.

When I first got in to trading, I was able to try Heady, Dreadnaught, Pliny the Elder, Pliny the Younger, and Hopslam within a three week period. My favorite ipa that I tried in that period is Two Hearted

After a lot of stressful deliberation, i'm giving it Celebration. Finding it before Thanksgiving is a nice kick off to the holidays. I would surely miss my favorite SN beer.

Bought several sixers of Celebration last season... didn't really float my boat. Was good beer, just wasn't as impressive as I expected.

Celebration! And it is 2/3 bucks cheaper than Two Hearted.

    Celebration +1

There are enough average ipas on the east coast that eliminate the need to drink an average mid-west one.

Since it's not available in Texas yet, I've only had a sixer of Two Hearted once, on a trip to Florida. A side by side taste test would be interesting. Although I greatly enjoy both, I'd say Two Hearted by a nose...but it's really close.

Two hearted pulls a table out from under the ring, lights it on fire, and powerbombs celebration straight though it.

Two Hearted Ale. I like Celebretion too, and it means the holidays are here, bur 2H is a better IPA.

Maybe I should give Two Hearted another chance as well. First experiences sucked for me too, even had it on tap and didn't like it.

OP: I'm one of the few Neither votes. There's plenty of better (to my liking) IPA options for the same price point, although I will scoop up a sixer of Celebration when it hits the shelf out of tradition...and plenty of Narwhal!

If I was stranded on an island and it was one or the other: Celebration would be my Wilson.
