Two new Parallel 49 offerings out this week

I have the opposite problem where if I like a beer I'll just tick it. I don't really like writing gushing reviews, unless it's something that really blows me away. At the same time, I feel like I'm sometimes too generous with my beer ticks. And now that you guys have got me thinking about it, I probably was overly generous with my Lil' Red tick, because I don't really remember it that well, except for the weird smell. I remember it being pretty sessionable, but I couldn't really describe it if you asked me to, except that it had little to no sour cherry present in its aroma, despite being billed as a sour cherry berliner weisse. I should grab a bomber and see how I really feel about it (and maybe even iron out a review).

I'd be down for a get-together at the Alibi Room or something, if anybody is up for it. I don't know if I'd want to do a bottleshare because I don't really have anything to share (poor impulse control) and I don't wanna be a leech. A friend from San Francisco might visit at some point in the next month or so, in which case I'll definitely try to organize something as he has a fairly impressive list of beers he wants to bring over.
