Two questions..

    I tried searching for these, and hopefully I didn't miss anything obvious, but..

    What's the availability like for RR sours on the shelves of LA-area beer shops? I have a buddy coming in to Chicago in a week and I wanted to see if I could point him in a good direction to grab me some treasures (Southwest = free checked bags = free shipping!).

    Totally different question, but, who do you guys follow on Twitter for local (anyone in Chicago?) and National (news, releases, anything else interesting)?

    All of the sours except Beatification are shelf beers. It's just a matter of seeing if certain shops have them in stock.

    What he said - though if anyone suggests BevMo for RR beers, ignore them - RR doesn't distribute anything thru BevMo.

    I go to a Whole Foods in Long Beach that usually carries the RR sours as they come out.

    Finding RR sours in the LA area is more hit-and-miss than in the Bay Area. K&L often carries, and they have a website that indicates availability. Where is your friend staying?
