Two Roads Brewing Jambic Coming To Lambic Series Here we have a new entry coming to the Lambic Series from Two Roads Brewing in Stratford, CT. This is Jambic and it is a Lambic-style ale brewed with raspberry and lemongrass added. Look for Jambic to be aged for over 1-year in oak barrels to “slowly mature and sour” before being packaged in 375ml bottles. This beer starts life as Two Roads Road Jam and it will now drive in at 5.6%-AbV. Stay tuned here for release info.
That's the word on the street, and was pouring at the Shelton Brothers Festival: Two Roads VIP: Jambic S1: Igor’s Dream (Russian imperial stout) & Workers Stomp (white wine BA saison) S2: Brothers In Farms (double grisette, collab with Brasserie de la Senne) & Roads Garden (saison brewed with edible flowers)
Sound delicious. Thought we would see this at the upcoming Beer Meets Wood event but here's their lineup: 2015 Igor's Dream, Russian Imperial Stout 2016 Barrel Aged Henry's Farm, Doppelbock Roadsmary's Stepchild, Lambic - Fruit Worker's Stomp, Saison / Farmhouse Ale
Sounds pretty good. I'm excited for Two Roads to open their new sour beer location. OEC certainly makes the most complex and interesting sour beers in CT, but Two Roads makes some very excellent sours as well.
