I have a two year old bottle of Bug County that I forgot about and just found. Any chance of it still being viable? It's been in the refridgerator the whole time.

I'm not a bug expert, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't something viable left. But I think the question would be what, and in what proportions?

I guess that at this point I could just brew up a simple recipe, throw it in, and see what happens. Or, I could toss in some dregs, too.

Anybody have a basic recipe they think would be ideal?

Possibly build a starter, let sit for a bit and smell/taste for any activity? Usually microbes that are that old need to rebuild their cell count to reach proper pitching levels.

I would just do a simple blonde ale to keep things simple and give the bugs as temperate an environment as possible.
